A little about me…I am not a native Spanish speaker. Everything I learned (and continue to learn)about the Spanish language is a result of blood, sweat, and tears. I graduated in 2000 from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Art in Spanish. Since graduation , all of my post bach work has been in elementary and secondary education. I was a bilingual elementary ed teacher for three years in addition to the two years I worked for a family as their private home school teacher. I’ve also worked as an academic coach (tutor) in phonics, organizational skills and of course-SPANISH!. My last public school teaching position was working as a middle and high school Spanish teacher.
I started my business in 2004. It was founded on the concept to teach people only what they wanted to learn (and finding a way to do it). Through out my college years, people would always inquire about what I was studying. When I told them it was Spanish, they would respond “I’ve always wanted to learn Spanish but only want to learn A, B, and C”. That is where the idea for my business came from.
In October of 2006, I came out with my first publication Real Estate Spanish. It is a great program comprised of a book, audio cds, and interactive CDROM. It really supports a variety of learners from visual, auditory, and kinesthetic. It is a great book for beginners or low intermediate learners. It teaches you all of the basics in order to communicate and work with Spanish speaking clients. Stay posted for upcoming new publications!
